Meet your coach

Seven years serving the St. Johns County tennis community.

Patrick created Slic'd Tennis to give local junior players thoughtful coaching, an active learning environment, and a clear path from today's lesson to tomorrow's improvement.

Why Slic'd exists

Local coaching built around consistency and genuine connection

Families are not simply looking for another activity. They are looking for a coach they can trust to notice the player, communicate clearly, and create a reason to keep improving.

Know the player

Strong coaching begins with the player's experience, goals, confidence, and personality. The lesson should respond to the person—not force every junior through the same script.

Make the work matter

Every drill, movement pattern, and game should connect to a useful tennis outcome, whether that is a longer rally, a more confident serve, better recovery, or calmer point play.

Keep juniors engaged

Age-appropriate challenges and relationship-based coaching help players work hard without losing the joy that makes them want to return to the court.

Keep parents informed

Parents deserve a useful takeaway: what the player worked on, where improvement showed up, and what the next lesson will continue building.

Independent and community-focused

Serving families across St. Johns County

Slic'd Tennis is an independent coaching service. Patrick works with each family to confirm a practical schedule and an appropriate, authorized court rather than promising access to a particular community facility.

The long-term ambition is to help more local juniors build confidence, consistency, and a lasting relationship with tennis—starting with reliable lessons for families around Beacon Lake, CR 210, and the wider county.
